Do you need to integrate Mailchimp with ClickFunnels? In this video, I will show you how to integrate ClickFunnels and Mailchimp at the account level, including setting up your API key and such. I will also show you how to set up your ClickFunnels funnel steps with Mailchimp lists so that when people opt in they go to the correct lists.

First you need to go to the top account pull down in ClickFunnels, and find Integrations on the dropdown and click on that. Then simply click the “add integration” button and you’ll see a nickname field. The nickname simply helps you remember which specific account it is. You’ll always be able to see it’s a Mailchimp account in ClickFunnels, so name it something that will help you remember which company it’s for if you have multiple Mailchimp accounts integrated with a single ClickFunnels account.

Then select Mailchimp from the ClickFunnels integrations pull down. And there is only one option for Mailchimp, so go ahead and select that one, and then the API Key field appears. So this is where you head over to Mailchimp to get that.

Log in to Mailchimp, click your account name, and click Account in the pull-down. And once that loads, you need to click on Extras. At some point in the future, there may be an official “integration” between Mailchimp and ClickFunnels that is set up and endorsed by Mailchimp, but for now you need to use the API Key.

After you click on Extras, one of the options is the API Key. Add a new key, name it something you’ll remember, and then copy the entire string of letters and numbers and head back to ClickFunnels.

Paste the Mailchimp API Key into the ClickFunnels form, click the green button, and you’re ready to go. Then the option to integrate that account will appear in the funnel steps. And there is where you can choose which list or which list segment the new contact and lead can be added to, along with a few other options.

So that is how you integrate ClickFunnels and Mailchimp.
