I’ve been dropshipping for over a decade at this point which has allowed me to do a lot of testing. Through this, I have gathered a ton of data that I’ve used to figure out a specific format that converts incredibly well. I use this for all my landing pages.

3 Concept Description:

The 3 concept description is Pitch, Benefits, and a Relatable Story. The pitch gives the consumer an idea of what’s going on and warms them up to be closed. The pitch breaks down exactly what the product does and what problems it solves for them.

When it comes to the benefits it’s very important to understand the difference between benefits and features. Features are what a product can do whereas benefits are the outcome of the features and are more closely related to how the product directly impacts the consumer. Benefits are the reason people buy a product.

The relatable story paints a picture in the head of the potential buyer so they can see themselves actually using the product. Nobody will buy a product that they can’t picture themselves using, so with the relatable story, you are helping them picture this and nudging them towards making the purchase.

Congruency:

Congruency in your landing page is extremely important because it’s what makes your store look like an actual brand. When you shop online at other stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Macy’s, or even Amazon the pages are all congruent.

This means that they all have even spacing, sharp non-blurry images, and have a nice consistent flow to them. Having uneven spacing and blurry images will make people exit out of your page very fast, and will make your store look very unprofessional overall.

Testimonials:

Having video testimonials on your page can help to greatly increase your conversion. People like to see other people talking about how the product has helped them overcome something, solved a problem for them, or changed their life in some way.

This will help them make a buying decision. I typically like to have a 30 second to 1-minute video of at least 3 different people talking positively about the product.
