What’s up guys, Chris Martinez from and today I’m going to talk to you guys about having a funnel…and no it’s not for slamming beers down your throat.

Do you know what a funnel is in relation to your business and your marketing?

Do you have one in place?

Well if you want to be successful online then you have to have a marketing funnel to help you nurture leads. In today’s world, very few people learn about a product, go to the website or pick up the phone, and then immediately buy. It just doesn’t work like that anymore. Think about it. When’s the last time you bought something immediately after learning about it.

Almost all people go through a nurture sequence before they make a purchase so you being a smart business owner need to have a “FUNNEL” to help nurture these customers along that path. Because if you don’t have a funnel then the customers will find their own nurture sequence and your chances of getting the business go way way down.

So in your funnel you basically want to have follow up sequences, offers, and upsells to develop trust with the client, give value, get them to buy, and then get them to buy more from you.

If you’ve never created a funnel before I highly recommend that you start simply by drawing out your customer buying cycle and then fill in the gaps with steps that YOU can take to give the customers all the information they need/want when deciding to buy from you.

Use this visual as your roadmap to building your funnel and then simply make it happen. And don’t forget that you can always make changes as you go.
