– Rectangle – activity
– Diamond – decision
– Ellipse – start/end
– Arrow – directional flow
– Circle – connector (on-page)
– Pentagon – connector (off-page)
– Rectangle with Curved Bottom – a document
– Rectangle with Interior Vertical Lines – a predefined process
