Facebook is undergoing some serious changes since the iOS14 update was announced and rolled out.

But it’s just the beginning.

We are about to enter a new area in digital marketing.

The area of cookie-less, server-side tracking using tools like Facebook’s Conversion API.

And it comes with some major advantages:

More accurate tracking, better data privacy and more control over the data sent back to Facebook, which will result in better targeting and ad performance.

BUT

Before we can benefit, there will be a dark period.

Major changes like this disrupt the industry and there will be a lot of chaos before the transition is over.

What can you do?

1 – Find smart ways to sustain the chaos and leverage the low ad costs that will come as soon as advertisers allocate their budget to other platforms (which they already started to do)

2 – See the changes coming, understand them and prepare.
