Every potential customer has a reason to be sold to, but not all customers are in the same stage of the buying process.
Current customers require less selling because they know the value of your work. While customers that have heard of you for a while now have already established a relationship with you and just need that little sales to push to get them over the hump.
New customer leads are a little tougher though. They haven’t seen your work, they only just heard about you, and are probably not sold they even need the job done in the first place. These are the customers that require a lot more selling and value-added to make them a current customer.
