In this video, I take a first look at Unbounce and show you how to create a landing page from scratch with it.
Unbounce is an amazing landing page builder because it gives you lots of flexibility in terms of moving elements around, and has the dynamic text replacement feature which is incredibly powerful and increases your ad quality score, conversions, ad rank, etc… I will cover this in a later video shortly.
But in this video I just wanted to give you a feel for the Unbounce platform and how their drag and drop editor works.
I picked up a random template that I found from Unbounce itself and then attempted to re-create it from a completely blank page to show you the different features that are available with Unbounce.
I was able to successfully re-create the page and make it look very similar to the one I was trying to mimic, and you should too!
The one thing I love about Unbounce is that it allows you to place elements anywhere on the page, not just in pre-selected areas like in ClickFunnels.
This makes it a bit harder to organize and format the elements, but at the same time gives you way flexibility in how you control your elements without needing to use code.
This can come in handy if you want to place an arrow overlapping the submit form for example, as you can literally place any element anywhere on the page.
Upon previewing the page, we noticed that the mobile view looked absolutely horrendous, so that is definitely something I will be going over in an upcoming video.
I also showed you that you can select a custom domain and easily integrate it with Unbounce – which I will also cover in another video shortly.
