You can’t be a marketer without knowing how to structure a marketing funnel. It’s one of the most fundamental task that needs to be done right at the beginning of a marketing campaign. A funnel is generally divided into 4 parts namely:

1. Awareness
2. Interest
3. Desire
4. Acquisition

Sometimes, 2 and 3 are clubbed together to form ‘Consideration’ but generally products or services require sometime when they are launched so it’s better to have a funnel with at least 4 steps. Now what’s interesting is that after the acquisition phase comes customer service and advocacy which is MAJORLY ignored. The reason for it is that many businesses think that the job is done after the sales is complete.
